IoT Architecture Course (3 Module Bundle)

The IoT Architecture course is comprised of three modules that introduce Internet of Things (IoT) concepts, terminology and common models, and then further cover IoT technology architecture and solution design, including communication protocols, telemetry messaging and IoT architecture layers.

Each module has a set of lessons and is further supplemented with exercises to help reinforce your understanding of specific topics. Upon completing the course, you can proceed to take an online self-test. After passing the self-test you will receive an official digital Certificate of Completion and will also be provided with the option to order a digital Training Badge from Acclaim/Credly. Passing the self-test also prepares you for the official certification exam, as explained on the IoT Architect Certification page. A separate Exam Prep Kit with more sample questions can also be ordered.

Further resources are available to assist you with the completion of this course and preparation of the certification exam. These include downloadable digital course PDFs, printed course materials that can be shipped to your location, as well as access to the course materials via a feature-rich eLearning environment. Coaching and instructor-led training services available by Arcitura and its training partner network. You can purchase coaching time on an hourly basis using this platform. MODULE 01 | Fundamental IoT
Covers the essentials of the field of Internet of Things (IoT) from both business and technical aspects. Fundamental IoT use cases, concepts, models and technologies are covered in plain English, along with introductory coverage of IoT architecture and IoT messaging with REST, HTTP and CoAp.

MODULE 02 | IoT Technology & Architecture
Provides a drill-down into key areas of IoT technology architecture and enabling technologies by breaking down IoT environments into individual building blocks via design patterns and associated implementation mechanisms. Layered architectural models are covered, along with design techniques and feature-sets covering the processing of telemetry data, positioning of control logic, performance optimization, as well as addressing scalability and reliability concerns.

MODULE 03 | IoT Technology & Architecture Lab
Presents a series of exercises and problems that are designed to test your ability to apply your knowledge of topics covered in previous courses. Completing this lab will help highlight areas that require further attention and will help prove hands-on proficiency in IoT concepts, technologies, architecture models and devices, as they are applied and combined to solve real-world problems.
